2004    Commissioned by Hilton Hotels in Houston to photograph local parks, gardens and private estates in the Houston area. Out of this commission, created 16 large scale silver gelatin photographs that were installed through out the hotel.

1994    Artist in Residence at YADDO, Saratoga Springs NY . Photographed Shaker buildings in Massachusetts and printed work from Nova Scotia series shot in August 1994

1991    Commissioned by the Willis Cordon Corporation in Nashville to create unique photographic works for the lobby of a new corporate building there. Kallina chose different locations in Nashville to photograph, and produced two diptychs for the lobby.

1990    Was asked to make Collaborative prints with painter Julian Schnabel. These large scale works involved the use of etching, silk screening, and lithography. They were produced by Pace Editions.

1986    Was commissioned by the artist David Salle to photograph theater work in which he created the sets and costumes. Kallina had her first exhibitions of this work at the Leo Castelli Gallery in New York.
